The lack of tweets in France, and somewhat in Germany, is striking.
I suspect it’s all about the cost of data on the Internet and not just cultural differences. Still, some French justify a lack of data consumption (which they can’t afford) by saying it’s not culturally correct. (Be in the moment, not on the phone; talk with the people with you IRL, not on the ‘net, etc.)
I’ve no idea what the Germans (or the Irish) say.
